Kathleen Hensley

Kathleen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) working in private practice at The Crane Center, LLC. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She also holds and a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology (Clinical Mental Health) from Troy University. She has over 10 years’ experience working in clinical mental health care and offers a wide array of services to individuals, couples, and families. She is a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC) and is trained in the unique culture of First Responders and Law Enforcement Officers. She provides counseling to first responders and their families. She is also trained to facilitate group critical incident debriefings for first responders and emergency service providers.
Kathleen is a nationally board-certified counselor (NCC). She also holds an advanced level credential as a Certified Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) for professionals practicing clinical mental health counseling. She is a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) clinician, which is a therapeutic treatment modality to help trauma survivors. Her clinical background ranges from treating individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, stress management, substance abuse, phase of life concerns, and relationship issues. She also has a passion for working with victims of domestic violence.
